Inspired by the ritual of gathering, the tabletop becomes a stage where the various items capture the memory of a shared meal and stories exchanged around the table. For me this form of still-life, or, tablescape, holds so much more interest for me than the traditional vase and fruit. I love the mix of outline versus fille- in, line versus form, and the simple but striking limited palette.
