This large, intricate carving is what started the engine running for this collection. Sitting dusty, dirty and filled with cobwebs in a roadside antique store all I could see was possibilities. After A LOT of delicate cleaning and restorative work this gorgeous piece showed itself to be the beauty, I knew it was. The addition of a smaller second carving created a unique balance to the overall composition. Set against a lovely velveteen fabric and encased by a magnificent Italian, hand gilded frame this piece is truly one-of-a-kind.
