Crowned by the Tide

Every so often, the pieces of a truly special project seem to find their way to me, and I can instantly envision what they are meant to become. That was exactly what happened after I completed my ambitious shell mirror project and had a collection of beautiful shells still waiting to be used, I stumbled upon a vintage bust and immediately knew the two belonged together.

The vision was clear, but the journey was just beginning. After a search for the perfect carved wooden base the concept finally started to come to life. What began as a handful of leftover materials and an inspired find evolved into a unique, sculptural piece that felt destined from the start.
